As someone new to DSLR photography I find PhotoCaddy indespensible when it comes to remembering various settings on my camera. I really appreciate the tips and suggested settings given by the software. They provide a nice starting point for my own exparimenrations. The ability to see others tips and ideas through the online sharing feature bumps this app to 5 stars for me.
Very useful tool for all level of photography. The settings do work very well and the tips help produce stunning pics. I use it very regularly in spite of having taken several photo courses. Highly recommended!
Need some external flash settings and night photography tips. Which lens to use to make a perfect photo would also be great imho. But other then that great app for its fair price. Thanks

Some bad moments
Save your money, there is not much to this application. As a previous review indicated, you will get more out to the owners manual.
But by the time youre into this kind of photography you most likely already know this content...a blog, or before and after with a how-to would add depth and interest to it.
Photo caddy does not have the setting I need to shoot well. There is a great lack of information and it is never updated. The ISO setting for everything on here is either 100 or 200 recommended. Good luck shooting stars with 100 ISO. Spend your 10 dollars on something like photo pills not this waste
Great idea ...but needs to be updated and have older info as well...as newer info and be brand specific one nikonn ver and one canon version and be more creative. Why so much In av mode or aperture priority mode? Why under sports do u not have MMA THe FASTEST GROWING SPORT!! Needs more!!
The information this app provides is really basic. No photo samples available in the app. App updates are very infrequent. This app is better categorized as a social networking platform where it relies on users to provide input. Nothing more. The problem is that the user base of this app seems very limited so you cant get much out of it. You are probably better off buying a photography for dummies e-book to carry around. Not recommended.
